THROWBACK THURSDAY - Friday 13th Girl's Night Sleepover

A few years ago I met the most wonderful group of girls through a great friend.  With that group of girls we have monthly girls nights and an annual sleepover.  This year the date just so happened to fall on Friday 13th.  My friend Stacey hosts every year in her beautiful house and comes up with the most fun themes.

Because this year was Friday 13th she decided to have an adult "dress up" themed party complete with wigs, oversize glasses, a homemade photobooth and other fun props.

I loved these goodie bags!  I Mustache You a Question...Do you love them too?

Stacey employed me to make the photo booth props which were super fun to make and use.   The lips can be found here. She purchased these mustache and pink mason jars at Michael's for the party.  We were able to take one home as our souvenir and also drink from it during the night.  I thought it was a super cute idea.

The chocolate fountain is always a big hit at her parties.  It is a friend and an enemy.  We love that thing, but the calories do not love us.  Ha!  She always serves it with cheesecake, marshmallows bananas and other seasonal fruit.  It is deliciously fun!

We always have a large assortment of food.  This year I made Spinach and Artichoke Bites that I found on Eat Drink & Be Mary.  They were amazing and a hit!

There are my girls.  The pretty girl in the center is the Hostess with the Mostest!

Stacey also made an adult pinata for the party.  It was supposed to be a pull string pinata, but we decided hitting it was much more fun.  Hitting it wasn't the best idea, but we didn't know the contents...we ended up with Crown Royal all over us and the porch.  It was still fun!

I don't know about you, but I believe that the contents in the adult pinata are much more fun than that of a child.

Once the mini bottles were out the fun really started.  Those are not shots of water folks!

One of the girls' little boy wanted her to bring his super hero masks and have us take a picture with them.  We all thought it was a great idea and had a ton of fun with them.

We all had an amazing time together as always!  We can't wait to do it again.  Do you have an annual girls night sleepover?
