WEEKLY PINspirations - WEEK No. 9 - Father's Day Edition

Father's Day is quick approaching and I want to make sure my lovely readers are totally prepared!  This week's PINspirations should do the trick.  These are totally geared toward what the Hubs would love to have for Father's Day, but I am sure some other men out there can share in his love for these "manly" things.  Take a look at what I pinned for the Daddys in my life...be PINspired.

Something to Create:  This man bouquet was one of my father's day gifts to the Hubs a few years ago.  I glued mini bottles and his favorite cigars to candy sticks and made a bouquet out of all his favorite "relaxation" items.  After all, men don't really go for bubble bath and candles. Here is a closer look at the project, since it was my original pin. Hehe!

Something to Organize:  The Hubs is all about survival these days.  He doesn't think there will be a zombie apocalypse or anything, but just to be prepared in case of a tornado, hurricane or just a plain old power outing (that last for years...dunh duhn duhhhhhn....kidding).  He has what he likes to call his "bug out" bag full of flashlights, batteries, ammo for his gun, water, ect.  He has wanted a new one to keep it all organized for a while and has mentioned this Maxpedition Sitka S-type Gearslinger bag multiple times.  It has all kinds of pockets and places to store things as well as being a backpack type bag.  Hey, looks good to me as long as it can carry my stuff too...

Something to Eat:  All of the men in my life are meat eaters.  I am talking huge amounts of meat!!!  Burgers are a go to item in our neck of the woods.  We also like things a bit spicy!!  I saw this Jalapeno Popper Cheeseburger featured on one of my recipe link ups a few weeks back and had to pin it.  It looks like the perfect Father's Day feast item for the Hubs.

Something to Clean:  Give the gift of a clean shave this Father's Day!  This Braun electric razor pulls out all the stops.  It also has rave reviews when I looked it up on Amazon.  The poor Hubs currently uses the old "whatever was on sale" razor and shaving cream method right now.  He hates shaving, so this may help him look forward to it a bit more.  There is nothing like a smooth clean face...but don't get me wrong...I love No Shave November as well!

Something to Wear:  My man is just like me...we love watches!  He has begged and begged for a watch like this for a while now.  This also hones into his survival/camping side again in that it has a digital compass and can also tell you the current temperature as well as let you know what time it is!  That is what is really important right?  This Casio Men's Digital Compass watch is affordable and stylish while still keeping you on time, in the right climate and on the right path!

Something to Live By:  From the moment I met the Hubs I knew he would be the father of my children. Once we started dating and getting serious, we talked about it all the time.  I loved him so much for wanting to have children and actually knowing a little something on how to raise them.  The first time I saw him hold Little Man and looked into his eyes I didn't think I could love him anymore than I did right then...and then it happened again with Miss Priss!  His love for our Littles makes me so proud of him and makes me thank God everyday for sending me such a precious gift of a wonderful father to my children...not to mention a pretty AMAZING husband as well.  I thought this quote to be fitting!

Whether you are buying for your hubby, your father, your father in law or just some man you think of as Dad, remember these PINspirations when you need a little help.  Go and be PINspired in Father's Day fashion!!  Happy Monday.

  1. So many great ideas. I'm not good with getting men gifts. I suck at it.
